Geography: Situated between China in the north and India in the South. China is in the north and in other three directions is India. Nepal is divided into three main geographical regions: Himalaya Region, the altitude of 4,877 meters to 8,848 meters is included in Himalayan region. The 2011 National census lists 123 Nepalese languages spoken as a mother tongue (first language) in Nepal. Most belong to the Indo-Aryan and Sino-Tibetan language families.

The official language of Nepal is Nepali, formerly called Khaskura then Gorkhali. According to the 2011 national census, the percentage of Nepali speaking people is about 44.6%. Maithili is the second largest Nepalese language and according to 2011 Census, the percentage of Maithil people is 11.57%.

Most of their languages are written using the Devanagari script including their indigenous languages.

Religion: Nepal is a secular country. Majority of Nepali are Hindu but other religions, including Buddhist, Muslim and Christian, also equally exist in Nepal

"Topography & Seasons"

Nepal offers an astonishing topographical variation with altitude ranging from 65 meters to 8848 meters amidst a width of 193 kilometers. Similarly within its limited area and bounds Nepal enjoys all the climates with alpine temperate and the tropical jungle regions determined by its incredible altitude variation. There are four Season in Nepal: -

1. Winter: December – February.

2. Spring: March – May.

3. Summer: June – August.

4. Autumn: September – November.

"Trekking Season"

Although trekking in Nepal can be organized throughout the year autumn – spring are considered to be the best month for Trekking Summer months of the year which coincide with monsoon season begin in mid – June and mid September making journey wet and warm. The mountain views may not be at their best as rain clouds and haze overhang the mountains occasionally obscuring the enchanting views. These times are blessed for the keen botanists as the higher valley and meadows blossom with flowers and lush vegetation.

Note: It is recommended to carry insect repellent when trekking during summer months

Autumn being the best season for Trekking affords excellent weather and tantalizing mountain views January and February are noted for cold weather with occasional snowfall at higher elevations. Again excellent views are common these months are popular and ideal for trekking for those who are well equipped or who remain at lower elevations below 3,000 meters. Late February brings Spring in Nepal and offers exhilarating trekking for those who are interested in flowers, birds and nature grandeur different varieties of wild flowers, specially the rhododendrons make the hillside above 21 00 meter a haunting paradise during this season. April and May are the height of expedition season and the best time for climbing the high Peak and the approach marches to the base camps it is mildly warm at lower 3500 meters the mountain views are excellent and the temperatures is quite moderate even at night.

"Preventing Altitude Sickness"

Normally below 3200 meter altitude is not a problem at all only in the high altitude trekking generally above 3200 meters altitude sickness can catch you and becomes more pronounced from above 4100 meter it is a condition caused by lack of oxygen its early symptoms are fatigue, tiredness, shortness of breath and headaches the worsening signs are nausea, loss of appetite, insomnia & diarrheas with a view to preventing this problem especially those who are undertaking high altitude trekking above3500, meter are advised to strictly observe the following tips.

1. Have a thorough medical check-up before you undertake specially if you are doing the high elevation the trekking & Expeditions or Overland Tours Drink 3-4 Letter water every day. Do not dehydrate in any case during trek Tours.

2. Breathe deep and do not exhaust yourself

3. In case of seven nausea insomnia or fever immediate descend of about 1000 – 1500 meter is the best cure for the time those who get serious.

6. From above 4000m gaining a height 4250 – 4500m daily in much advised depending upon the steepness of the trail.

As far as the physical fitness in concerned for normal trekking below 3500m no special physical fitness in required. As long as you are reasonably active and in normal good health you will be able to find within this booklet a trek to suit you. Some of our trek is of course physically demanding but all our treks do not require any special mountaineering skill. The important thing is to choose a trek of the right grade.

All our trek includes food: Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea, and Dinner variety in food is ensured as far as possible with Nepali traditional cuisine which call Dal Bhat Continental, Italian, Chinese, as we serve everyday difference dish at least five – seven days you will taste different taste of your daily meal during the trekking trip. Alternatively the food comprise a blend of ensure nutrition even in the difficult circumstances on the high Altitudes.

The Vegetarians are also welcome you just give us advance notice we will put all our efforts to cater your requirements. Upon arrival in Kathmandu as well as in the major towns and cities we put you in the centrally located Hotel & Guest Houses however if you like to have hotel guest houses of your choice please late us know before your are arrival in the town.

During the Trek or Expeditions we provide you twin sharing tents for the camping trek & Expedition. If you like single tent also we provided upon prior request before your trip departure.
